I Have A Dream Project

Project Change, has been collaborating with “Friends of Street Kids and Orphans” Foundation (FOSKOF), to help build a facility in Kampala, rescuing street children from the “SLUMS”.
We have saved several children, with our teachers travelling treacherous roads, from the worst abuse imaginable, including rape, abuse, and severe malnutrition.
We have to face the daunting project, of not being able to save them all, leaving some children behind, crying for an opportunity of a life not filled with luxury, but safety and a hope for the future.
These children grow up in the “slums” or on the streets as orphans, some as young as 2 years old.
Uganda has neither a Government infrastructure nor any program to help care for these abandoned children. Instead, local church members try to assist despite their very limited resources, and one of the biggest challenges facing street children are the unjustifiable arrests and detentions by their local police, which often result in severe beatings and sexual assaults.
WE HAVE SET OUT TO BUILD A COMMUNITY CENTER ALONGSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH(ES) TO SERVE AS A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO REMOVE THESE INNOCENT CHILDREN FROM THE STREETS.
There are many Families in Dire need in Uganda, of Basic essentials. Although we are unable to assist all, we definitely help where we can. Help us, reach out to more street children, and Families in need.
