Smile Africa Orphanage & School
With the help of our Sponsors, Donors, and Volunteers, as well as the wonderful Management Team of Project Change, we were able to build an orphanage with an onsite school for the children of Masaka, Uganda.
I Have A Dream Project – Kampala
Project Change, has been collaborating with “Friends of Street Kids and Orphans” Foundations (FOSKOF), to help build a facility in Kampala, rescuing street children from the “SLUMS”. We have saved several children, with our Teachers traveling treacherous roads, from the worst abuse imaginable, including rape, abuse, and severe malnutrition.
The Lioness Project
We are working to protect children from Kony and his forces by providing houses and safety, providing an education, providing a place where they are safe and free of the risk of being sold as young bridges or slaves, and providing them the tools and skills to become “income earners” by way of sewing, baking, cooking, planting, and more.
Shine A Light
Children in Kampala, do not have access to electricity, and very few have the luxury of a candle. Many of our little street children, are as young as 2 years, and extremely afraid at night. Many children are eager to learn, even in our school, but as soon as the sun sets, this is no longer possible. Through the support, and good pricing of Luminaid suppliers, we are bringing light to their lives!
