Rescue Mission July 1, 2016

On May 30, 2016, our volunteers set out to rescue three children in the area of Amuria, North Uganda, after we received a desperate plea for help. The children are all forced to dig holes every day for food often not paid for their labor. Most of them are orphans who have not only lost their parents to HIV, but themselves have it. All of the girls are forced to marry after their first menstrual cycle. Upon arrival, we realized the situation was far worse than originally anticipated. Instead of leaving with three children, we rescued eight. Unfortunately, many were left behind crying and begging to be taken with. We made a promise to be back. Join us July 1, 2016 in resueing the children we had to leave behind. Every donation will help with the cost of travel, emergency medical supplies, hotel accommodation in Kampala, food, shoes and clothing.
