Holiday Outreach

2025

Every year, we come together to support an extraordinary humanitarian mission. Our Holiday Outreach fundraiser provides food, medical care, clothing, and hope to more than 1,000 children who often walk miles — barefoot and hungry — just to receive basic help.

Many of these children live on the streets, facing harsh conditions every single day. With the generous support of donors and our dedicated volunteers, we not only meet their urgent needs but also use any remaining funds to purchase clothing for children who have nothing more than bags or scraps to keep warm.

This project is an enormous, volunteer-driven effort filled with compassion, dignity, and love. Thank you for helping us make sure these children feel seen, supported, and cared for during the most difficult time of year.

Last year, thanks to your incredible generosity, we fed over 800 children in Kampala, Uganda on Christmas Day. But it wasn’t just about the food — it was about hope, healing, and showing these kids they are not forgotten. This year, we’re dreaming even bigger: our goal is to reach 1,000 children!

With $1 dollar we can provide rice, beans and a cold drink to one child. Anything more goes towards bandaids, medical and soccer balls. It’s impossible to articulate how hard it is for a child to survive street life. Children taking care of children. It’s cold, rainy, muddy and very dangerous. They have injuries, wounds, and medical emergencies that are often life threatening. But there is nothing worse than hunger pains. They see others eat, but will get arrested if they beg for food. This is the state of millions of children.

2025 has been especially difficult for children living on the streets. With global insecurity, food prices have soared. Handouts by strangers are less frequent. Many children are simply forced into prostitution and slavery.

While the outlook is grim, we intend on shining brighter. Our hugs, warm meals, and a day filled with soccer makes their world a better place, even if it is just for one day.
